For the home office

Home office evaluations can incorporate specialized ergonomic equipment, but often deal more with work practices and posture. Instead of working at a dedicated work station, people usually have to work wherever they can. If they are lucky it is a desk in a spare room, but just as often it is at the dinner table or on the sofa. In these strange places, your body will conform to wherever it gets crammed, and this usually results in strange postures, stress, and strain.

Unfortunately this stress and strain on the body can manifest as neck, shoulder, and back tightness and pain, aching legs, eye strain, headaches, and fatigue. The goal of the ergonomic consultation is to find ways to minimize the stress on the body and prevent or reduce the associated discomfort.
